Read about some of the individuals that make BGSU Hillel a reality for students, alumni, parents, friends and the Bowling Green community.
Elizabeth has been working as Hillel Director of University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University since 2011. A Toledo native, she received her Bachelor’s degree from the Art Academy of Cincinnati and before coming to Hillel, owned an art gallery where she taught art classes and sold local artists work. Elizabeth is proud to lead Hillel and she looks forward to seeing even more Jewish students at Hillel in the years to come. Her door is always open, stop in for a visit! In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys traveling, painting and spending time with her husband, Andrew and puppy, Hudson.

Sarah is the first Jewish Student Life Coordinator at BG & UT Hillel. An Ann Arbor native, she grew up attending the local Jewish Cultural Society. She played the piano and violin, was a competitive figure skater and played soccer. Sarah received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Kalamazoo College in Art/Art History and Spanish.
Before coming to Hillel, Sarah taught English in Spain for two years. While living in Spain, she had the opportunity to visit many countries with different cultures and traditions.
